Trubyville Roving Reporter Jack,

This morning I knew it would be a great day. After I got dressed, I ate breakfast and headed to school. When I got to school I was the second person there in my class. At 8:00ish we started to set up our Sip 'n See projects. After that at 9:00 we went to the Winter Program rehearsal.

I hoped that everyone would be on key this evening because tonight was the night we performed at The Scottish Rite Center.

The Sip 'n See started at 11:00 and ended at 12:00. I was doing my project on the Komodo Dragon. I was all set up, and I had a laptop (with a movie I made) on the table next to my board which had a life cycle, an essay, a graph, and some photos. Everyone liked my exhibit. The 4th graders loved to touch my clay model of the Komodo. Aeron Lee was doing his on the Long Nosed Gar, and I thought it was pretty good. His topper to his board had the name of his animal spelled with Cheetos. My topper had a lot of objects on it. It spelled KOMODO DRAGON with Legos, beads, paint, googly eyes, and more. Aeron said, " Nice project. It's cool," and I said back, "Yours is good too, and I like how you used Cheetos on your topper."

After the Sip 'n See we had lunch. We usually have Independent Singers which is a group of people who work together in singing. Mr. Dary ( our music teacher? wasn't there, so we skipped it. There was indoor recess, and I played on the computers in the computer lab. As soon as that was over woodwinds had band. Brass didn't have it today, so I kept playing on the computers. Then woodwinds got back, and we went into the room to finish reading our book Surviving the Applewhites. After we finished the book, we started watching "The Sound of Music" because the Applewhites along with Jake Semple do that very musical in the book. During the movie, I bought a giant Pixystick with my coupons from Mrs. Truby. It was Grrrrrrrrreat while it lasted.

At the end of the day when it was time to go home, Mrs. Truby said, " I'll see you at the concert." That evening, at the beginning of the play, everybody sang the song "We Need a Little Christmas," and we rocked! Throughout the whole show, we did awesome. At one point of the show the fifth grade sang "Malakaleke Maka" and then the Independent Singers had one song to change out of our Hawaiian clothes and back onto the stage. One of the boys didn't make it. In the middle of the song Dylan ran onto stage and started singing. It was Hilarious! Finally, we ended the performance with the song called "December Lights". It was a crazy day but a fun one.

Reporter Out.
